This is Kumiko I made her in 3dsmax 9 and zbrush 3.1.I did all the textures in zbrush 3.1 (no photos were used for this) I modeled her first in 3dsmax then in zbrush and back and forth (females are very hard to make in 3d so I always had to fine tune her for the render. I used 3dsmax for the renders with mental ray.She was used for the cover of the 3Dcreative magazine for january 2009.
This is the last image from my officer concept. this was my original idea, to make a sci-fi steampunk charater as a portrait (like an old picture) . I'm submiting. This is the final concept of my cyborg officer I started a little while ago. I modeled and textured it in zbrush 3.1. rendered in 3dsmax 9, with a little bit of editing in photoshop. I also made a timelapse movie of this concept
